    I didn't have to remove the tie rod, just separated the spindle and UCA and swapped it out.

    It's been awhile since I did mine with a sway bar, but from what I remember it made it easy easier. Though 1st gen.

    Releasing the UCA from the spindle should be all you have to do. You can sneak them out between the tie road and lower.
