We should organize another ride sometime in the next couple of weeks - I didn't even end up making it to this one this time; I think we've got at least 4 people interested.

Also, does anyone shoot trap or skeet?

How many of ya'll have 4wd tacomas?
How many of ya'll have 4wd lifted atleast 2-3 inch tacomas?

If I can get a decent amount of people to answer I'll get a decent ride up around this way.

I just took a small ride today. It was wet really wet and thick clay mud. Definitly need 4wd and some kind of tires not stock.
As long as ya'll dont mind some small scratches from trees we can wait for it to stop raining and maybe dry up some. Then maybe 4wd people would want to go not just lifted 4wd. But you def need a 4wd to make it up the steep hills.

Tires are good. Just had toyota rotate them when they changed my oil last thursday.

Still have stock tires - and my truck is too new for me to want to risk tree damage (1 month old today), so I might have to bow out on this one

No need to bow out. There are several trails. I think if we can get 5+ trucks to go it would be a decent ride. Got a few jeeps I ride with around here who would go also. But I'd like to see 5+ toyotas. take a few breaks. snap a few pictures. Turn an hour ride into 3 hours lol.

Aright, well, I'm up for whatever! I might just have to wuss out if it looks like I'll mess up my beautiful new truck. I just barely got 1,000 miles on it.

I wish I had a 4X4. I have a perrunner not the TRD either just the plain prerunner, but i love it anyhow:) I wish i had the $$ to get a locker for the rear but it will take some time since new rims and tires are the top priority now. Does any one know about how much it would cost to put a locker in plus install price? and where in Alabama is a good place to have one installed? BTW GotLift37 you have the rims I want the 16's poilshed/black Dc1 I love the the looks of them.

I am from Weogufka it is in Coosa county just about 15 miles out of Sylacauga Al Talladega county if that helps you out. Not sure where lacey springs is, is it south of Birmingham or north? about how much are we talking about in the price range? Because I am going to get new rims and tires before i do anything else. Does he have good prices on say 16" poliched/black Dc1's?? if so i might be getting some from him they were like $150 per rim from tirerack but the shipping is crazy expensive.

Lacey's Spring is southeast of Huntsville; there's a great trap and skeet shooting range there where there's a bunch of awesome older guys who sit around and shoot the shit all day until people come to shoot the shotguns. :)

Probably like a 2-2.5 hour drive for you from Sylacauga?

And hey, Kyle, I might have to go check how much that guy would charge to weld on my sliders; he'll do that, I assume? Have you met Danny at Rocket City Offroad? The Rock City Rock Crawlers use him a lot.

I was thinking about some 235/70R16 brig. dulers on the dc1's i have 265/75R15 but i dont really go off road that much just because i would get stuck with my "i think open diff." so i thought about going with a slightly smaller tire 28.952in compared to the 30.649in. so about 1.697in smaller that way i might get some more low end grunt and would weigh a little less. what do you think would you b able to notice visually that they are smaller since going with 16's "I DONT want it to look like I have a smaller tire, because i like the way the 265/75/15 looks
