I am no help on a 6" lift, I think that it would be pretty high though. What about just a 3" lift?

I had a 6" Fabtech on my old 07 Taco and I think just the lift itself was about 2500. I ended up dropping right at 5500 though for everything. Lift, tires, wheels, and installs. Its going to dive in you bank account deep. That was just my experience. Im sure you can cut that a little bit from tires and wheels since i went with 20s for wheels at the time and also put the most expensive mud tire on it at the time. Don't be surprised though if my number is the norm. Good luck bro! Hope this helped at least a little.

Another thing to add with all the negatives of cost, is that u actually lose some ground clearance since its a db lift. Although i guests if ur gonna stick 37's under it u can combat the lost GC. but u can do a 3" suspension lift (maybe just 2.5" and get away with stock uca's and save some money and help ur cv angles) and do a 1-2" body lift, stuff some 35's under it and have more ground clearance for the same or less money.
2.5" sus+2" body + 2.5" in tire will put u at 7" over stock just sayin

Wow I missed a lot, I feel left out! I will just say I do not have a tattoo yet, I am not against getting one just never found anything I would want permanently on my body...

@BAMATOY do you have some pics of the black grill surround on your runner? Is it a gloss black? I need to get mine painted and I am going to go with black this time.

I actually don't have a pic of it before. I have sanded the hell out of it now so I don't know what it will look like now but I will go take a few pictures of it shortly and let you see what it looks like. It is a glossy finish though because there are some parts that definitely have some shine to it. I thought about plasti dipping it like my hood scoop but I have about decided to clean off my scoop of all the plastidip and just get some actual black vehicle paint and try that. May have to clear it afterwards but thats at least the route I am thinking.

Don't need no stinking body lift to run 35's. I'm running right at 2.5" of lift and rolling 34s and still have room to grow if ever needed.

For some reason I chose to change careers to something that will never pay me well, but so far i really like it and work with some great people. I do miss my old work though, custom fabrication and such, but it's been well worth it.

Furthest I've driven it was from CA to here, before that was a few 7 or 8 hour drives.

Still no reason to do a body lift. And I was merely referring to the fact that there is no need or justified reasoning to a body lift to fit 35's.

Think the man is set on a db lift. So he has pro comp, dirt designs and a couple others. I have found that those that are already settled on a db are not looking to be talked out of one.

To him, they are all going to run about the same cost. If you find one for less you will likely pay more for something that the kit didn't include. I would just see which one is the most complete.

My clear yellowed on my white grill. I like the look of when I had my original grill plasti dipped. So I am going to go with the black paint. I thought about flat black but think you are right somethings just must be gloss.

check out the rcd lift that comes with the bilstein shocks. For a drop bracket I think its one of the better ones that comes with new F/R shocks. Not coilover price lift but also not spacer junk.

Going to ask here first and see if y'all can help me.

My truck is not starting, it just clicks like the battery is dead but then will fired right up after a couple times. It is getting worse though.

It died while driving, right after riding on Saturday but then fired up and drove fine, it did shake pretty bad at the first red light then stopped. It was doing fine till yesterday at the gym, it clicked 2x like the battery was dead then fired up. Then nothing till I was at the gym again this evening. It clicked for a few times, tried to start a little bit. Then it just fired right up again! I got home no problems driving, turned it off and tried to start it back to test. Click...I took the battery cables off and cleaned then and still about the same thing. The first time after putting the cables back on it fired up and died. Then fired back up and ran.

I am so confused about this...altinator, starter? I have no clue. :help:

sounds like a ground issue, maybe to the alternator. or the actual alternator going bad.
