Alabama thread!

We're having grilled pork chops and fried green tomaters and fried eggplant for din din tonight!

 

Never had eggplant

 

It's good stuff, especially the Jap purple eggplant.

 

I'm no professional, but if you need another hand at some point let me know. At my absolute worst I'm real good at holding stuff or playing gofer.

Supposed to be the hottest week so far this week, but I reckon it's probably gonna get a lot worse this year before it gets any better.

Man that garden's looking good! We dropped the ball and got a late start this year, but my peppers are starting to come in and the squash is starting to get out of the bed we put 'em in.

 

Imma have to take your word on it

Our garden is doing really well this year! We got cantaloupes and honeydew coming in too.

I can only pay 12.50/hr for lightbulb installation. No unionizing.

 

Don't hesitate to yell at me if you need a buddy. I've never been shy about picking up heavy stuff. I also know all too well how tricky it is when something's literally a two-person job and there's not a second one around.
