    Cool!! Looks like you will only need to buy the 2x6s and the 1x3 slats. You could possibly get long enough pieces off the pallets to piece the slates together as long as they reached to the center. Or add a second middle brace and just use 3 pieces per slat. With that many slates each one won't be holding much weight.

    Even a old yota in the drive:cool:

    Yeah I've built a few headboards out of them before. But I'm building my own pallets so i can start from scratch.

    this is the last one I built, I just used 1x4's on the head board and the base is 2x8's and legs are 4x4's

    I JB welded screws that I cut the heads off to the surround. They stick past the lip about 1/2", then I used a rubber washer and a nut to hold it secure without any noise. I will see if I can find a picture to post.

    Edit* @BAMATOY so that is the only part of the process I didn't take pictures of...sorry about that.

    They are plate, custom to any style you want. If you are looking for a tube I bet he could do that too.

    We do! I have been to a couple of them at @TacoAlaMode 's place. Last Saturday 4 of us got together and went riding on the trails at lakeshore!
