I’m down 20 in 2.5 months. Cheated a little during vacation. I’m about 6-7 pounds away from my goal. @cubie me and Cindy did the Optavia diet. I hated it at first but, when I started dropping I was like ok this isn’t so bad.

Just got done cleaning the inside of Cindy’s Pilot. Black on black interior sucks! Especially when there is sand everywhere.

 

IF really isn’t a diet por say more of a pattern of eating. I just try to eat healthier and get my target protein in while keeping carbs lower. It’s always worked well for me. I lost over 100lbs doing it lol. Use to be 270 and got down to 169 with 154 pounds of lean body mass according to a Dexa scan.

 

Just don't look at it, works well for me

 

I agree. The diet we are on basically gets the right stuff in your body. I have cut a ton of stuff out. You eat every 2-3 hours and then measure and weigh your food. We are definitely better at sticking to the plan when we are in a structured work week vs. off. Lol

 

Just do the ole two finger dessert diet

 

Back when I was in my best shape I measured everything I mean everything lol. If I couldn’t quantify it I didn’t eat it.

 

What do y’all think about the ecgs bushing? I keep going back and forth with all the mixed opinions on here. Should I just go ahead and get it for when I put the lift on?

 

I got one, but haven't installed it yet. I had all intentions of having it put in.....but just never did I have the tool, so don't buy that.

 

I did one on mine before regearing and it alleviated some growl I was having. The bearing was totally trashed. If you plan on regearing and doing a front locker I wouldn’t bother as the ARB is built with something similar. I did get a credit on it when I sent my cores back to ECGS though haha

 

I’m on factory bushing and I’ve had no problems out of mine. 112k on the clock. If it goes bad, I’ll replace with the ECGS one.

 

How much lift are you going for? It’ll have more of an impact on the needle bearing the higher you go and the steeper the CV angle is.

If it were my truck, I would do it with the lift as a low cost precautionary thing. Mine started making noise instantly after I lifted so installed the bushing right away. A friend of mine ran his on the factory needle bearing for a couple of years and was in pieces when we pulled it.

Also remember, the bushing is a wear item and will eventually have to be replaced.
