Had a buddy that had a blow out on the trail. Destroyed the whole right rear quarter panel of his fj. I asked him how he blew his tire up that bad. He said he had 80 psi in the tire because the website said that’s what it took

 

What? You don't fill to max psi?

On a similar note, I had been running 34 psi for years. Wear was good, but they have been getting loud, so I bumped to 39. Surprisingly it dropped the noise considerably.

 

Higher preasure gives you less tire touching the road, is why the noise got quiter. It will cause your tires to wear faster in the middle becuse the sides aren't touching the road. It all depends on the weight of your truck. I only run 20 psi on my Samurai and 32 on my Tacoma. Doing the chaulk test has helped my tires last longer.

 

Some tires state 80psi Max and some people think that is where they should be. I bet they run really rouigh.

 

The frustration first thing in the morning when you realize the house keeper unplugged your coffee maker and you forgot to stop and get creamer. Happy Friday everyone!!!

My milestars are designed to run on the center rib and require a higher pressure on road but nothing like 80psi. He was running that off road which doesn't make any sense to me considering you want the opposite off road.

I would like to but, long week with school back in. So going to hang close to home. We are a go for Sept though.

 

I’m going to Monday morning after I take my daughter to school in Vincent. Already going to be in area, might as well get out. Need some fresh air after getting some bad news this morning. From latest MRI (see pic) - basically going to have my shoulder replaced most likely.

I actually moved to Calera with my girlfriend. I’ve found 1 power line trail going towards Lay Lake but haven’t really gone far on it.

 

wish the slab was still open.

 

I’ll check it out again soon. I remember some trails that were open nearby

 

Got a detail on the work truck haven’t had the interior cleaned since I got it seat looks like new so does carpet and smells good. Bought some weathertechs too they only make them for automatic but their fine for manual.
