They are nice to look at but anything hotter than habanero messes me up

Man, Makes me want to start spending money. The only thing really holding me back from building one is buying the tent. I need one for 4+ people and the cheapest one I have found that is decent is $2530. Thats a lot of coin for something we currently might use 5 or 6 times a year. I hope once the kids get older we can do more and I can more easily justify it.

 

Just bite the bullet and buy the Tenere

 

I love toasted habanero but that is as hot as I can go and still enjoy it. I will try any of them but Ghost and Carolina Reaper are beyond the heat I can enjoy.

 

Trinidad Scorpions and Scotch Bonnets are pretty hot too.

 

I’m not sure what your plan is but we have two sleep in tent and two sleep on cots in annex when when the whole family travels. When it’s just me and my son we don’t do the annex. All tents have their specific advantages. The awning annex rooms would be a good place to start if you didn’t want to do a ground tent and didn’t want to invest in RTT at the moment. 4 compact cots and good to go. The one @gixxerphil picked up is pretty awesome cause it has an awning in the front once set up.
