Morning gents, anyone’s hood latch under the dash popped out of that flipper upper? Mine has and for the life of me, I can figure out how it slides back in.

 

If it's like the 2nd gen gotta pull that lower piece under the steering wheel and it slips in like the old bike hand brake cable.

The white thing pops out and then you put the cable in and put back in.

 

Sup Phillip, doing some searching on here for that latch and all I’m getting is the under hood latch problems.

Goes behind you'll have to remove piece and see how it goes in. Probably happened when you installed radio.

 

More than likely and never noticed it , thanks David . Time to get some needle nose pliers and see if I can get it back in .

 

Red circle shows where it goes in and green shows where little nub hooks into pull handle.

Well David , it’s raining now so it’s on hold . I probably knocked it loose pulling that speaker wire or accidentally hit it popping the kick panel back on.
