Alabama thread!

Maaaaan. I’m grumpy. So they delivered our bikes yesterday right, and they started up fine. I tried to crank mine about an hour later and got nothing. After removing the battery and hooking up jumper cables this morning, it fired right up. I know they charged it. I have a picture of it hooked up to a battery tender. So these slackers either gave me a bunk battery in a 2024 bike, or didn’t even bother to fully charge it before they delivered it.

I'd ask for a refund Some of the dealers kill me. I won't buy from the 2 Honda dealers here(Opelika/Columbus). Luckily, we have a small business that is great with bikes. The owner is very engaging and is great to work with on parts/work.

 

In perfect luck, they’re actually closed today and tomorrow. I took the battery out and am gonna run to autozone or something and get them to test it. If it can be charged then I guess it is what it is, but if it’s bad I’m gonna have to make the dealership give me a new one on Tuesday.

 

Hopefully they'll do right by you. I get that mistakes can happen. Their response would determine if I used them again.......probably should have started with that rather than bashing all dealers b/c I have 2 shitty ones

 

I have a feeling they’ll be pretty cool about it. We had a good experience with each of the employees, and they even gave me a free Bad Boy electric weedeater. Honestly it’s probably just my crazy luck.

 

And if they fix it, probably so. I just jumped the gun

 

Looks like we’re gonna find out. Oreily’s hooked it up to their tester and it said it had 12V, but when they tried to get it to engage it said Bad Battery.

 

Surely they will replace it. It's been less than 24hrs

I've been looking at the Noco's since @Hafaday posted about grabbing one for his KLX300 the other day. Google keeps popping up 210CCA's for my stock one....but all the ones I find on sites that are listed say 160ish CCA's
