My wife is off for the next 2 days. Wanted to lay in bed today lol/

 

Doing some laundry and just finished breakfast, now I’m just chillaxing sipping coffee ​

Some of my coworkers were talking shit about one that called out yesterday. My thought is there is absolutely no reason to be loyal to this place. They pay you 60% of your ETO value if you cash it out, they can deny request off.........fuck'em. If you don't feel good....call out. No incentive to come to work feeling bad.

Wellllll , I got to work when I’m sick . Just to spread the fun and who wants to lay around the house when you’re sick when you can go to work and get paid for it.

 

I don't presonally like taking a day here and there....but at this point, I don't blame people for doing it. This company has no loyalty to employees.

 

Is that the only place around there for you to work at? Why not do something different?

 

Basically. I like the folks and job.....just not the upper management of the company. Once the CEO retired 5yrs ago...it's not been the same. Our last employee survey was at a 40% approval rating. Upper Management still didn't think they were the problem.

 

Upper management doesn’t have a clue, those goobers at the plant have had an air cooled chiller system planned for years and parking sucks. But there working on putting the system in place which is gonna take up a lot of parking space. Because of how the lines have to go, and still nothing done about parking. When they should have been doing the parking lot 1st . Buuuuuutttttt noooooo. So it’s a nightmare now , wrecker service was moving vehicles yesterday and charging employees for it.

 

It's crazy. When I first started, you couldn't get a job in the ER unless you knew someone that would go to bat for you. Now we have more days of not being fully staffed than days we are. And the turnover rate is insane.

Once again Fedex suuuuuucks. They delivered my wheels yesterday, great. Today they only delivered 2 of 4 tires.

First gen Sequoia third row. I don’t think it’s ever been used. Any idea of value? I’m going to take it out soon and I’d rather just sell them.

 

See if e bay has anything like that or fb marketplace, I can’t think of anyone that would want to buy a set of rear seats like that unless the seat in the vehicle was tore up.
