Dang thanks for doing the work for me fellas. I read in the install instructions where they said to use the stock ones, so that would have been unfortunate. I went ahead and just ordered the ones Brian posted since Amazon claims they'll get delivered Friday. Fingers crossed I don't get victimized by the mail carriers this time!

If you haven't already bought boots, take a look at the Formas. They have a high version too. I grabbed them for $200 off ebay.

 

Welcome to our little neighborhood. Best I can offer is a bunch of forest roads. Choccolocco Wildlife Management Area north of Heflin in the TNF has some easy riding and it’s a pretty big network. You could spend a few days out there and not go down everything, but it all depends on how many gates are locked. I also really enjoy going out to the Mountain Longleaf Nature Preserve outside Anniston and riding Campington Ridge Road. It’s an in-and-out, but it’s relaxing in my opinion. The there’s the 600-1 and 600-2 in TNF that most folks talk about when it comes to riding in Alabama.

I definitely want a pair one day. I really like the tall ones. I’ve got a pair of Tech3s that I’ve been using for dirt/gravel and a pair of just leather work boots for the daily riding.
