If I honestly planned to split a lot....I would gladly spend the $300.

Before my back injury I was in pretty good shape for a guy in his late 50's. And would have tried to split wood. Now I'm over weight and lazy.

Yeah, that's not too bad of a difference. I'm starting to see used prices come back down now that bikes are actually sitting on dealer's floors. The market has started to catch back up thankfully. It just rubbed me the wrong way when dealers wanted to throw a bunch of bullshit fees on top of the MSRP.

Plan is to be a Jacks River Fields Campground and ride the Big Frog Loop from there on the 27th, and camp again at Jacks. This trip is more for riding the Big Frog Loop on the bike....as I've been wanting to do it since I got the bike...................just couldn't make it happen with @Hafaday or my buddy Alex when he had his Rally last year b/c of the eye surgery. Now that @Modern.Hermit has a bike............it's GO TIME :D

I'll be ready to go somewhere that my work cell won't pick up! Dallas the week before for semi annual meeting. We'll plan on heading to Jacks River. I want to plan a trip from the start of the traverse near Gaylesville Al. I was thinking staying in Ft Payne the night before then heading to the start at the GA state line, making our way to Cottonwood patch campground on the loop for the the first night. Then around to Jacks River Fields for the next night. Of course this is just something I'm beginning to plan. Probably be a Fall trip for that one.

I'm gonna be reeeeeeeeal ready for that trip by the time it gets here. I already don't want to wait and consider just calling out sick the rest of the semester pretty much every day. :burnrubber:

I’m not that far from either Gaylesville or Fort Payne. Probably around 40 minutes either or.

I figured a stop at little river canyon on the way to Ft Payne would make for a day. Then use Ft Payne Hampton Inn as a starting point because they allow pups lol. It's about 3 hours for us.
