    Sup all!

So they totalled my Spruce Mica (Gabriella), but I got a great settlement on the salvage title and it is at the house. Waiting for a call on financing for a 2014 Grey one with 85K miles (my Spruce Mica has 133K) one owner with no accidents that I will hopefully pick up next week. Then start the process of stripping Gabriella for a lot of the mods (roof rack, dual battery system, shell, Elockers, etc.) to move to the new truck. So want to sell the rest of Gabriella. Engine actually cranks just fine and is throwing no codes. Anyone interested in parts PM me. I also would very much appreciate it if anyone has any advice to offer as I have never dealt with selling something like this before.

I can't help, but Kirk @koditten buys salvage vehicles and then drives the wheels off of them. He may have some words of advice. He's good people :D

He's done a few. I'm sure he'll know all the tricks of the trade.

What you should do is get a single cab and throw that 4.0 in there :D

Drove truck to my property and once there engaged in 4-wheel drive high (dirt roads). I was towing a utility trailer (trailer is single wheeled and weighs about 600lbs and was loaded with 1,500lbs of building material - cinder block and gravel). I backed it up a 16-degree slope (I checked this slope later with another truck to verify what the slope was) to unload. Set emergency brake, put it in park, gently let off the brake ensuring it would not slide in the dirt and drive shaft was engaged, turned the ignition off, put the keys in the other seat, opened the door and stepped out. Before I could even close the door, I heard a pop and truck started to freewheel down the hill with me running after it, using a lot of Sailor language, and finally deciding to not jump in and risk getting run over and let it go. Buried itself in the woods about 50 yards down the hill all the way to the back of the trailer (a tree I have named Ilean slowed it and another one which did all the damage stopped it). Clambered through the brush and got in. Truck was still in park and emergency brake set when I got in. Since it was not started up when it went down the hill there was no engine seizure or airbag deployment. I had to turn the steering wheel a bit to get the key to fit. Turned it over (probably should not have in retrospect as it sure as hell wasn't going to back out) and wheels spun so I shut it off. Wrecker came and we unloaded the trailer, pushed it out of the way, hooked up chains to the back off road bumper, and pulled it out of the brush. First thoughts had been that the drive shaft had snapped or U-joint failed but checked and that was not the case. Based on the wrecker attendant instructions, I started the truck up, put it in 4-wheel low (it engaged with no issue or codes) and easily backed it right up into the wrecker bed. After we got to the yard with the truck, I got in, started it and drove it off the wrecker bed in 4-wheel low again and then disengaged it with no issues. Never did take any pictures of it in the woods as I was a bit put out about the whole deal.

    - Truck has ECGS lockers front and back but I was not using them (maybe should have in retrospect).

It freewheeled down the hill in park so I suspect gear spline slipped or broke. Maybe @JBTacoma could come up with an answer.
