I scored a WeatherGuard Packrat box that will fit in the bed, Its 50x33x9 should fit perfectly in the bed. Its a little rough but nothing a wire wheel and a rattle can job can't fix.

$4100 in damages to my truck from the bike falling into it

 

What??? A bike falling into your truck caused $4100 of damage? Details?

Damn. When I rolled the silver truck, I paid $700 for my driver door and front fender from that place in Carrollton, GA. Wasn’t too bad to change out. Another option if he wants to go that route and keep it off his insurance.

 

The rocker is the worst part and where most of the money goes. I would think finding a matching door would be unlikely, so paint will be needed either way.

 

What did you do? Crash your bike into your truck?

 

Had the bike on the wheel chock and didn't use the straps. Walked away and it fell. Completely my fault.

 

Damn, that sucks. That’s some pretty serious damage from a falling bike, especially that rocker panel!
