It's the trip of a lifetime!!

I'm thinking there may be some major "adjusting" for everybody on how long they stay...

    yeah....can't do that...

So basically this isn't a group trip anymore but a "do it yourself trip". I think we should either make a plan and stick to it or just say "we'll all be in the same area around these dates, stop by and say hey if you're there too".

In the military taking on challenges like this forces you to grow as a leader. Plan out an itinerary and we will follow it, right or wrong it will be for the better to have some structure. Without it might just all fall down...

I'm not going, but recommend as a group you guys stick with "plan A", that's what sold everyone to begin with. From there, guys can veer off on there own.

    Just my .02

The 16th of Jan is a federal holiday and I'm going to combine 2 days of vacation for a 5 day weekend and I'm probably going to hit the road for some adventure and do a mix of overnight backpacking into the Sipsey Wilderness and go visit Desoto falls, and then hit up my favorite spot in the Talladega NF.

I'm not sure what there is to do in Desoto Tacoma wise. I was going to stop there to do some day hiking to some of the falls for possibly photography opportunities. I think so far I'm going to do Sat night in the bankhead, get to Desoto Sunday afternoon and Spend Monday in Desoto hiking around, then take off Tuesday morning for Talladega then head home Wed.
