A little bit random, but what would y'all think about us trying to get a dedicated AL page in the regional discussions forum, like what the other states around us have? We could put this thread, and trip threads, the BST thread some folks are trying to do, and anything else all on one dedicated forum page instead of several individual threads everywhere. Just a thought.

Does Lexus have one of those programs? I was thinking about looking at them for my second car whenever I get one of those, since they're still Toyota. Probably was gonna do used due to money, but if the deal is right...

They have it in the "South East" forum. Technically this is a stickied thread so it stays visible in that section. They don't have one for every state just the most active ones. This is really the only thread that gets consistently used for our bama folk.

Yeah, I as just thinking about it since we've had a good increase in AL threads come up lately. Maybe the climate has changed here and we could use it for trips and parts and whatnot? Plus I think it'd be easier for new members to find us that way too. I honestly didn't find this thread until a couple years ago, and I've lived here all my life, had the Taco in the family for over half of it. Haha.

The only threads I use that are "alabama" are this one, the bama parts swap, and the moab trip...not enough for me to think we deserve a specific section haha

lol I guess. I'm just comparing to other threads that are WAY more active than we are that don't have their own states. South Carolina for example.

If it helps people find it then its a good idea. Like you said so many people are on here but do not even know about the "Alabama" thread.

Wish they'd give me $750 for buying the truck while I was still in college. Albeit, used.

I have a 3GS, 2007. Very underrated car, very quick, and as stupidly reliable as the truck.

I am glad it is for up to 2 years after you graduate. I am approaching that quickly.

Those are good looking! Unfortunately I'm part of the small population that wants a manual transmission, and I think the IS series is the only one that offers that. Even then, they're hard to find unfortunately. But again, if the deal is overwhelmingly better on an auto, I *might* change my mind.

I wish I had a manual. But uh...it would be the first opportunity I've ever had to drive one.

    Oh yeah? What's the story?
