    Hey now, we can spell 'alabamian' (or if you're from out of state, 'alabaman') and huntsville has one of the largest research parks in the world with the highest number of phds per capita, so suck on that!

    but really, I'm working as a mechanical engineer. I think USA Today posted a study showing the 10 fastest growing cities in the US. Huntsville and Auburn were in the top 5.

    i think the per capita is what is making the difference, 2000 people in city + 1 college grad = smart town, not in my book
