Yeah. Once you see what folks do for a whole extra inch of clearance, fender cutting is pretty tame.

Yeah...I really offroad mine- And I've had to grind and cut some of the sheet metal out. I'm not sure that taking the fenders up to make 35's happen is in my plan. Plus I would have to regear at that point...and get a supercharger (well...maybe I don't NEED the blower...but...ya know).

I gotta see what the clearance is like when I get the new bumper on this summer and go from there...

    Well played gents...Well played.

If you come up with a way to need the blower, please PM me. I've been trying to plan my sales pitch to the wife since I drove the truck off the lot 2.5 years ago. Still working on that... :frusty:

Anyone else hear the loud booms and feel the ground shake yesterday? Rumored to have possibly been Air Force testing of a new plane.

    http://www.alabamawx.com/?p=58054

Other stuff of interest in that article, could have aurora borealis in Huntsvegas in a couple days.

    Here's plane info:

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Those booms happen all the time in huntsville. Redstone has those towers for testing rocket engines. When i was a kid, they tested one that actually blew out the glass in all the houses in a neighborhood that bordered the arsenal.

And hopefully the aurora borealis turns out. Thats something on my bucketlist. Last time it was "supposed" to be visible in alabama I stayed up and nothing happened.

As an IT expert, solar flares are responsible for everything that can't be diagnosed as someone elses screw up. Most helpdesk calls are due to a problem with the keyboard and chair connector. And as you just learned the only way to fix something is to "Reboot until the desired affect is achieved."

So this is a pretty convoluted plan...but stick with me.

My wife has always wanted a horse...We got wind of a retired racing horse for free. Agreed to let her have said horse if I could have my front and rear bumpers, winch, and skids.
NOW-We have to go GET said horse. Gunna need a trailer for that-We'll borrow one this time...but then when towing it back-Let her feel how the truck dogs out...and VIOLA-Instant reason for a blower.

Plus...If I get one for MY 1GR-FE...She'll want one for HERS!!! So I get to do two installs and have two forced induction engines...=)

I like your way of thinking there. Aim for the bud light but have the shot of tequila just in reach.

OK guys, I have an official request here. I would rather look into someone here than just pick up a phone book. If anyone here can do quality graphic design from another persons ideas, please let me know. I need someone who can help me with designing advertising posters, and graphics for my company web page. I can't pay huge amounts here. I am looking for someone who can just do a single, package job and that's it. If you are interested please e-mail me or pm me here with what you can do, and what you would plan to charge. Thanks!
