If the rear rotor was glowing it would have been an even BETTER picture! lol Love the glowing rotor anyways.
If the plan goes through this Saturday then I will be able to go! lol.

Engine freshly rebuilt due to blown head gasket, built my own CAI, EGR delete from LCEngineering, Billstein 5125's in the back with GM leafs, I can't stand paying for something that I can make in my garage so I built my own spacers for the front and tweaked them for 3" of lift.
Anyone from around the Mobile area?

    well update on the truck.
Changed the alternator and jumped the timing on the distributor. Truck wouldn't start and couldn't figure out why (before I knew I jumped the timing). Also found out that I was popping the EFI fuse. Looked up on Yotatech.com and they were saying that the o2 sensor right before the cat would be the main cause for the EFI fuse, unplugged it and no more popping of the fuse.
Had some help from some people off of Yotatech.com and they said it sounded like it was out of time. Well guess what, it was WAY outta time!!!! It took me 4.5 hours to get the truck back in time to where it would idle by itself. Made sure that the #1 cylinder was TDC and turned the distributor to the number one wire. That took several tries but finally got it in time. I turned the key and it fired right up didn't hesitate or nothing. Took it for a test drive and it had NO POWER! Go figure right! CEL was on and it is throwing a code 11; momentary power loss to ECU.
If anyone would like to put there .02 in that would be AWESOME on what needs to be done.

I would talk to Bill if I were you. Sounds like an electrical problem, and I avoid messing with the electronics on a vehicle. Bill is a master at that shit though.

the ecu doesn't have a fuse. on mine atleast. It might have one on yours with it being an OBDII system. Mine is OBDI which is not as complex as yours.

I did the NADA values for the jeep and my truck, looks like my truck is worth more (by about $3k) but I still owe on my truck, thoughts or input?

Picture looks good. As for trading, only you can determine that. I need the function of a truck.

As for offroading, the jeeps are easier to modify. The angles (approach, departure and breakover) on them is better than what you can get on our trucks. For a primary offroad vehicle, you can't go wrong with one. However, without a good suspension setup, I tend to believe (opinion) that the shorter wheelbase would make them a little quicker to get into a rollover situation.

The rollover thing makes sense. As for my physical need for a truck, I've used it some and I'd kinda hate to get rid of it, I know as soon as I trade it in i'd need it. Thank you for finding logic out of my attempt at an impulse buy lol.

EVERY vehicle with a computer has a fuse to protect the ECU circuit. However sometimes it is a bit difficult to determine what fuse protects the ECU. I will do my best to check in my service manuals to get you the information needed.

That aside, I am a bit concerned as to how the truck jumped time in the first place. A lack of power, but a good idle can still be the result of timing being off. A slightly retarded timing will have a great idle, but when you accelerate, it will lack any power at all. May I ask how you verified that your timing is correct?

My very first thought when seeing that pic. You'll find more rollover video's of those then everything else put together.

Well, I don't have a timing light so I figured I was in time with it firing right up. What would you suggest that I do. It idles great, but has no power. I can look in my Haynes manual and see if I can find the ECU fuse. Would I need to advance the timing or try to get it back in time by removing the distributor and turning the motor over to TDC?
