No I can't as I am using a 12U Gator box to house all the various radio equipment so the seat had to come out.

you need to get a diode and create a jumper on the yellow connection. Try and get the other side off eBay or somehow connect. I think 2ohm diode does the truck. That’s what I used on my 2nd gen.

The seat is completely removed in order to make room for my 12U Gator Box to house all the radio equipment. This will be a permanent install to be used as an EMCOMM as well as roving for Ham Radio.

What you mean is a 2 ohm resistor not a diode. I am looking at using a 3.3 ohm 2 watt resistor. Will try in the next few weeks as the Toyota diagnostics actually use a short to test the controller.

Yes close enough, yes resistor but yah give that a try. Checked mine was 2.2. I cut mine off from the seat and made a connection. Wasn’t putting those seats back in worked well.

Just so you know. Most modern Multimeters use two AA batteries and so when used to measure resistance, the output is less than 3 volts. An airbag requires a short 12 volt pulse to deploy.
I measured my RF seat that was removed and it shows just under 1 ohm. I have used a 1.5 ohm resistor and that removed the DTC error code but the SRS lamp is still on. I suspect it has
something to also do with the fact that the seatbelt system is in alarm due to the RF seat being removed.
I talked with a 4x4 owner who uses a blue tooth OBD II code reader with his cellphone. He is able to disable the SRS for one seat but this phone App is only for Jeep/Chrysler products
and the App is "jscan'. Would be nice if there was a similar App for Toyota.
The other solution is to buy a used RF seat and very carefully remove the wiring harness and connect that up to my vehicle and just place it on the floor. This should remove the alarms
and DTC codes. An App would be far less expensive than the spare seat. LOL

Just curious if removing the passenger seat disables the driver's airbag? I want to make room for my dog in my AC and a rear platform is too small. (She is a big girl at 120 pounds)
