Last time I bought steel, the plate came from China and the Schd. 40 pipe came from Korea.. This was a few days ago in Dutch Harbor.

That being said, I'm not too happy with a lot of what I've seen. Sliders and armor can always be rewelded - but I'd never even consider any of their driveline components.

Well had a great mod day for myself today. Took the day off and installed new leaf springs, soldered in a 4x4 switch back light and added new cargo tie-down rings.

A lot of Koreans from what I hear. The slope was under a phase 2 blizzard yesterday, I'm not sure if its blown through, so be prepared for delays.

Hey Everyone, My names Chase and I drive a 97 4Runner. Haven't spent much time on TW but my friend Matt (AKTaco) told me there was an Alaska group starting up over here so I thought I'd get involved. Hopefully I can meet some of you guys soon and hit the trails.

Heres a picture of the rig last summer up in Hatcher Pass.

Thanks for the heads up. Ya, I always pack extra clothes when traveling in state. Never know what weather will do. Planes get held often

 Yup... Flying in state. hahaha ha ha .......

Once put all of my cargo on a bush plane WITH me. I ended up in anchorage without my stuff.

The next day I got a call from a very confused (and thankfully intelligent) pilot in Perryville. "umm, I have these boxes with this number on them and they are addressed to anchorage but they are on my plane???"
