I'm sure they will work fine. I have a pair of Simms that I love, but there are a lot of good options for breathable waders these days. I don't know how long they last compared to Simms, but that depends on how much you use them. My dad had his first pair of Simms last for 15 years before one of the feet started leaking. Mine are going on six years with no leaks.

Cool, thanks. Cab's is apparently pretty good about replacing them if they get holes, I'd just hate to get up there and get a hole the first day. After the trip I probably won't use them but once or twice a year for trout down here.

Went for a ski at the Russian river camp ground tonight. Gorgeous. Highly recommended if you ever find yourself in Cooper Landing in the winter

    Then I found these:

And decided to get the hell outta there and come back again with some firepower... just in case.

Oh yeah, Cabelas has some pretty great customer service. If you're worried about them being DOA, turn them inside out and fill them with water and look for leaks before you head up here. Where are you fishing when you get up here?

    Nah, just small hands.

I'd be more worried if they crossed the trail.

    Pretty sure wolf prints

They were only on part of the trail.... About a mile and a half back. Thats a long way for someone to hide their giant ass dog. Haha. Only one way in and out if the trail.

When I had to get heli-vacd out of mchugh pass we heard wolves there too. Sketchy knowing you can't move and there's wolves nearby.

I saw a wolf the last time I drove back from anchorage. It was midnight and the it ran in front of me across the road and the stopped when it got to the guardrail. It stared at me for a second and then jumped over the rail. It was pretty creepy.

A few months back when I was living in Seward I was driving to anchorage and a big mountain cat ran across the road. I was very surprised because I've never seen one before in the wild. I hope you have a gun I know I would.

I'm pretty sure she's packing heat. And not just a hair dryer.
