But rock chips are bound to happen driving gravel roads all the time and paint is so much easier to touch up!!

Smh, you'd be hard pressed to chip 4mm powder coat I think. Plus it'll look waaaaay more better. And yes, I said more better.

I get that it's not everyone's thing, but really wouldn't push something on you guys I hadn't researched all the way through. All the guys I know who wheel ALL the time, some of them being featured in offroad magazines and such, swear by powdercoat over painting. If its done right, it'll last forever.

I get that.. but if i can save myself $150 and do some occasional touch up im gonna do that. Both my sets of rims have held up for two years now with only one or two chips per set. And i painted those myself. Im going with SEM trim black which matches the look of powder clat prettt darn well

Theres no doubt powdercoat is tougher though.

Well if I get the tax return I expect to, my lift will be ordered very soon. And maybe even new tires as well. Just gotta have my accountant friend look over my taxes to see if I did it right lol.

haha yeah maybe. I would love to have sliders, but the thought of welding to the frame scares the shit out of me. To be completely honest haha.
