I'm sure you will. I've been there once to hang out for the day but never camped or wheeled. Always wanted to go back though

Sooo my clutch is starting to slip and I have a feeling it is going to go out soon... :( Probably going to have to replace it sometime this summer and I want to have a plan.

I want to replace it with something pretty beefy for wheeling but still driveable on the street. I have been looking around at what is out there and there are a lot of options and they all seem to say they have great torque capacity and low chatter blah blah blah...

Anyway, any suggestions of brand, material, etc?

haha, and why is that? :)

Oh, I should also add, I am willing to pay for quality but I would like to keep it reasonable. Ideally, $500ish max

Nope, its a great system though. VERY durable. Highly recommend it over painting. And you should totally check out the URD twin disk system. Makes me wish I had a manual.

Got my truck back today. No more leaking axle shaft! Also figured out I get smokin' deals on shipping with PAF through my work. Shipping my lift, 227 pounds total, from Fife, WA to Anchorage is only going to cost me $75 bucks.... So that will help my wallet out a bit!

Hook me up? Haha, they charged me their shop rate plus the cost of parts. But they fixed the seal as far as I can tell. I still smell burning oil, but I think its just residual left over on the exhaust. They confirmed I'm in need of steering rack bushings and my driver side inner tie rod is bad. I think I can replace the tie rod fairly easily. Still unsure of the rack bushings though...

Oh, and they were awesome to deal with. If anyone is curious. If I ever re-gear, that is the place I will go!

I've been thinking about taking mine down there for that same seal and a power steering leak I have, I just hate spending the extra money for shops to fix my stuff. Nick and I were gonna do them but I'm not sure when our schedules will line up to where we can do it and I would like to have it all good to go by the time break up is done

Ah I see. Yeah if its the same seal it'll cost you around $300. Like I said, I had them inspect some other things so it was more than that, but if you're just doing that seal it should be around $300, maybe a bit more.

And yep, gotta get these things fixed by summer. I don't want to have much downtime. I need to get everything fixed before I order suspension. Which, btw, I'll need some help with installing haha. So hopefully a mod day is in store for the future. I'll have the coils already assembled on the struts, and the extra leaf already in the springs, so the install shouldn't be too bad unless I run into too much rust.
