Just checked and Sam's sells them for about $225.00 per tire. I called but the guy that answered in the tire section wasn't too helpful and I didn't find out if they had them in stock for the size I need (LT265/70R17/C 112Q)

    Welcome!
2 newcomers in 6 mins haha. Welcome! Curious why you are going with 265 other the 285s? If anything I'd go 255 85, that's my next choice

^this if youre looking for that beautiful offroad size and functionality, I'd look at a 255/85/17

Also, yeah 6 minutes is nuts, I thought for sure it was some elaborate hoax. But welcome

I'm pretty new to trucks and all but can 255/85 tires be made for 17 rims? Everywhere I've looked only have them with R16.

Pretty sure you have to go 255-80 if you want to stuck with a 17, 255-85 is only for 16.

Do you need a membership to get tires from Sams? I really think I'm just going to get mine before I leave San Antonio this summer. I can get the E load Duratracs for about that price down here from Discount Tire. Plus I'm hoping to get $300-350 for my tires that are on there. Not sure if they'd sell for much up there since I think they're mostly off road looking, not actually off road functional (BFG Rugged Terrain TAs).

Yes you need one but just find someone who already has one and go in and buy them no biggie.

So are 255/80 ok for the stock gearing? What's the benefit to those over 265/70?

I think He's trying to go with a tire closer to stock if not stock for the gas guys hahaha. Not 33's Although they look sweet on the truck they kill your mpg without re-gearing
