    In the interest of safety I feel I should mention that a truck on 46's not only didnt make it to the glacier but took 3 fully built rigs (fully built in my eyes is 44's and up) with 3 snatchblocked 12k winches 16 hours to get him out of the river he broke through. Just sayin. This warmth we've been having is not going to make things easier.

    Whatever, I don't need mine, I can just get rides from you and ben everywhere I need to go. So plan is that we'll put mine on cruise control and then I'll step out onto your sliders, and then we ghost ride my truck across to test the ice!

    I was reading on the ak 4x4 network that they are planning a massive trip to the glacier on New Years. If conditions aren't good enough by the 22nd I say we wait and go out with them. They are trying to get 100 people to show up.
