Okay sweet I'll have to check that out! Thanks guys! I'll probably just get my tires off of Amazon but I was just curious if somewhere local had them

Decided not to go with 285s, but to go with 265/75/16, I want more sidewall because it'll be better off road and I just don't want to open up the pandoras box of possible problems with rubbing of a 285. Plus the two reasons I'm changing my wheels and tire combo is because of milage and off road, I can get the best of both with a 265/75/16 cooper st maxx

and Ben I'm gonna need to order those methods that I want from you! Luckily 4 wheel parts does carry them!

So why does everyone in the lower 48 use tire chains? I understand the purpose of tire chains, but I have never used them and have been able to survive our winters on less then desirable tires. I went the whole winter on the stock dunlops using the adage, 4 wheel drive doesn't make you stop faster. just something that made me wonder when browsing the forum

I went this past winter with my trail grapplers. It wasn't the most intense winter ever that's for sure, but I do live 6 miles up Hiland Road in Eagle River which is a straight shot up a mountain to the south fork trail to Symphony lake. It's a pretty sketchy road in winter but as long as you're in 4WD you're fine.

Andd I changed my mind again on tires. Going big or going home lol I'm getting the 285s.

Anddd I've got a set of 4 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx tires on the way from Amazon lol, gotta love prime!

Those are a few years old, so I don't think that's too bad considering how harsh AK winters and such can get. You want to keep those uniballs dry though, any grease will attract dirt and it will just sit in the cup and wear them out. How'd you press them out? Hammer or c-clamp?

Caleb your wheels will ship out next week. Called around and sold a set of boggers so I could get them up a lil cheaper for ya. @Brussell18 ...your build begins tomorrow! So stoked to get it all dialed in. I'm making some changes to mine in the near future....

Hey what kind of stuff would you guys like to see GTF carry or produce? Trying to get a vibe of what we all need. Don't be afraid to dream a bit, if it's something you think you'd benefit from and I can help I want to know about it.

More arb parts would be nice, maybe some of your rigid lights on display or stocked? I think yall need a bigger shop and show room!

Haha, what ARB parts are you thinking? We've got a bit upstairs and I try to cycle through the stuff on the wall pretty regularly.
