Jeremy (guy that rolled) wanted to send a big thank you to @crazysccrmd, Nick, Jeremiah and everyone else for helping him.

Turns out his wife just had a bad sprain, nothing broke.

    He rolled it. lol.

When we were coming up the trail to Ruby Lake I was leading and there were about 8 4 wheelers and side by sides coming down. I talked to the first one of their group and he was an idiot and didn't move out of the way so I took the smaller side trail to pass him. Generally the little guys give right of way to us, the bigger vehicle but not this guy. Everyone else followed suit in following me around these guys. Then Jeremy didn't see the drop off on the passenger side and tipped over. He might have video of it rolling, but we definitely got it uprighting.

To add insult to injury, his wife Morgan was in the passenger seat with the window down and instinctively put her arm out and got it smashed. She got rushed to the hospital, and luckily it was just a sprain and bad bruising, no broken bones.

    What's up all!

I'm heading up your direction from near Jasper. Should be there in a week or week and a half.

It'd be cool to meet some people, I've got a bunch of random stuff that I'd like to see and do when I'm up there that's scattered all over the state but no set plans. Going to be going to grand prarie then Northwest from there.

I'll definitely have to see it while I'm there. I've got stuff marked in that area.

Well dont think any of you guys are in the area, but its looking more and more like Ill be moving up to Dillingham, AK in the next year or so. Sort of depends on the gf, she graduates next summer and wants ot take a few months off....which would mean waiting till the next summer to head up there.

I've spent a lot of time in Dillingham, but only in the summer. It's a really cool town but cost of living is exceedingly high. Last time I was there was quite a while ago, but gas was over $6 per gallon. Lots of folks were riding around on old Honda 125cc motorbikes. Oh and beer is stupid expensive, so get ready to make your own.

GF actually spent 5 weeks up there this summer so has a good idea. It is silly expensive COL wise but luckily we could get housing for a good deal. She did mention that lots of people rode around on atv's and dirt bikes. Gas being expensive shouldn't really be to much of an issue since there isn't exactly a lot of places to drive to lol. Beer was definitely brought up...sounded like if you bought it at the store it was expensive (like 15-20 for a six pack) but if you went out it was more "normal" priced.

We plan to visit in October so I can see the area too then decide if we go or not. If we did go it would only be for 2-3 years

This is an important case to object to guys! This would start a precedence that could block a lot of our legal trails and shut them down. The article explains this more, about how they want to block a RS 2477 legal trail. If you don't want to read the article at least email an objection! It doesn't need to be perfect but let your voice be heard before we lose all of our offroad trails!

In Fairbanks you could try exploring parts of the Circle-Fairbanks Trail to find secluded areas. If you drive up Chena Hot Springs Rd you can find a lot of trails down to gravel bars on the river.

Kinda bummed i just realized prudhoe bay is blocked by oil stuff. I might've went to Inuvik instead, too late now.

It's pretty lame, have to pay for a bus tour just to get to the ocean. On your drive up there's a lot of areas to pull off. Gas is available just north of Fox, at the Yukon River (really expensive), Coldfoot and Deadhorse. There's a nice BLM campground a little north of Coldfoot and another basic campground at Galbraith Lake on the north side of the Brooks Range.

How long are you up there? I'm heading that way. Goofing off around Delta Junction right now.
