Alaska Mod Days!!!!

So the million dollar question is, when's the next mod day?

So it'd be cool to get a list of people who don't have access to a qualified welder or would just like to pay the dang fees associated with doing these sliders up PERFECT. I can't say enough about how anal nick is about doing things right. It may be a simple straightforward weld but you can guarantee it'll be done right if we go through underground performance. They're willing to hook us up so lets see if we can get a good group of people through his shop and lower all out costs.

Thank you to Ben for giving me a sweet deal on a pair of leafs. Now I'm just waiting for my brother to find time to help me put them on

 

No problem man, glad I could help AND get something cleared out of the closet. In other news, my wife is having my satoshi painted for valentines day!

 

Soooo I have a bunch of marine grade vinyl laying around which I plan to use for my arm rest mod. I will be using black for mine and will probably have enough left over for two more trucks (or one more if its a DC... what are the doors back there like?) I also have some grey laying around from my last truck. Probably enough for two or three sets of doors.

Anyway, if anyone wants it, it's good stuff and I have no application for it other than my arm rests. I'll bring it to the next mod day that I make it to

 

I need to finish my doors! Need more hours in a day! Takes a bit to do each one for those that are thinking of attempting it.

 

I may be interested...what exactly are you replacing?

Nope, I did mine out of neoprene to match my wet okole's. Just has the driver door done for now. It's about an hour on each one. You really need to take your time though because its 400 bucks a door panel if you screw it up b

 

If someone else knows they want the vinyl, by all means, step up and claim it. I'm on the fence about it.
