I hate you and your hook ups. Just a little ;)

Mine is a compustar. I don't know the model number. 3000 foot range though! Plenty for my uses

Yeah perfectionist is awesome. I had mine done at safe and sound and I regret it. I was having issues with my remote and they wouldn't take the time to show me how to work it, which pissed me off. And then I was with a buddy at perfectionist and mentioned the problem I was having and they ended up taking 10 minutes walking me through how to operate it and I didn't even buy it from them. They will definitely be getting any future audio/security business of mine.

Ya I've heard good things about perfectionist too. Always have run on first impressions and the place that'll get my business for that stuff will be shades of competition. He was the only place I went that took the time to see if I needed help with anything. Perfectionist, safe and sound, and total truck I left unnoticed.

Being that my truck was gently used, I didn't have to pay for my 2-way start already installed. Sahweeeeet. Though I DID fork out like $300 for my wife's Audi, which we turned and sold the car 6 months later. DOH!

    Are you sweet talking me?

When ARE we doing a mod day, anyway? Don't think I've heard any dates thrown around.

True... Hmmm. I think the problem with mod days in winter is obvious. BUT! If they are easy ones that require small amounts of tools and just warm parking space i can get us about 8 parking spots most likely in the shop at the dealership. So for the hood struts and led lights and guage stuff that would prolly work. Just need time to coordinate and get a plan for what everyones doing. But i think itll be more fun at someones house in their garage where beers can be passed around and music played to loudly haha

Nice! How was it? Am I going to have to relocate my horns since I relocated them to those two unused bolts?

the actual install is easy. the instructions are awful and unnecessarily confusing. The pictures are way too detailed and there is just so much text. Like pages and pages of text that could have been replaced with a really easy to read diagram. My confusion might have been due to the hangover I had though. I am an engineer so I am pretty good at following instructions regardless of my state of mind.....

I am not sure where your horns are :( so I can't say. The install did not use any existing bolts. Some drilling was required.

    does that answer your question?

yep sure does! I'm glad it doesn't use the bolt holes on the sides. They're spoken for. Although I'm not sure where they'll end up when I put the extra fusebox in there.
