So I've called Billy twice in the last couple of weeks and left a message asking for a return phone call. No return phone calls and another month gone.

 

Yeah this is getting really old I've been patient but am slowly losing patients

 

Same here. It's now been multiple months longer than it should've been.

 

It would be nice to hear from him and get an explanation

 

^ this. It's not entirely the wait that bugs me, but the repeated "by this date" that gets broken and no reason why. We were supposed to have invoices the day after I last talked to him. I hope he remembered to change my order to a plate at least lol

 

At this point I hope everyone's is correct and not forgotten

 

Yeah if I don't hear anything in the next week or too I'm definitely not gonna be happy. A little communication goes a long ways

 

I currently have close to $2k into truck mods that have no ETA...bummer.

Just got a but of an update from Ben who talked with Billy this weekend. It looks like Billy should have the recovery points he's been waiting on for the last of our bumpers tomorrow and we should see final invoices shortly thereafter with the pallet shipping next week.

Also, final invoices will also have the cost of materials added in for the crate just FYI

I talked to Billy Saturday and thats what I was told as well. He has 10-15 bumpers sitting in his shop waiting on recovery points that he can't get ahold of. He was supposed to have hands on some today, and if not was gonna go to his buddies shop and use his bandsaw to cut everything and weld them up by hand so he can get our stuff out.

 

Just talked to Billy, his expectation was to have it all out May 6th.

Told him I posted a review online and that I was frustrated with the communication side of things. He said he was working on it and appreciated the honest feedback. I also updated the review thread.

 

Yep it sounds like Ben is planning on taking over for Billy on TW just as far as communication goes to help keep everybody updated and happy.

Thinking about asking to have that review taken down. The thread has gone a bit off the cliff about people arguing semantics instead of realizing that it was purely there to let future buyers know that if they decide to go with Billy there could be an issue with communication.

Such as myself: Communication is a big key to me and is how I do my business. If I would of had that information upfront I may of went a different direction.
For others though the lack of communication is not important as they know they're getting the best product.

To each their own I just wanted to give people a heads up in case someone like myself was on the fence.

 

Yeah I think people failed to see that nobody was really arguing that the wait was too long or billy is a terrible person. From my perspective it was all about communication. Thats all we were really looking for.
