Yea we are. I had an opportunity to get out of the Air Force so I took it to be able to move back south. It gives me a better chance at the FAA also.

    The sage continues...

Rewind 2 weeks. I dropped the truck off for an alignment. A week later I call the shop. They can't align it. The rear lower control arm mount needs to be pulled more. I take it back to the frame shop last weekend. They pull the frame more and ask to take it to their alignment shop. I agreed. Tuesday they call and stay the alignment won't alight it because my selector shaft is bent and is hitting the frame. The shop want 460 to repair it and 90 for the alignment. I decline and pick it up Wednesday. Yesterday I went to the wrecking yard and pulled everything I need. Hopefully I'll get everything put back together this weekend so we can try again.

Got the new selector shaft in. Couldn't tell where the old was bent but the new one doesn't seem to have the same bow

Took 2 hours total to install

Ive been working on getting rid the the previous owners cigarette stench from this truck. I post on facebook on how to remove the smell. I recieved some good feedback
    - ozone machine
    - ozium deodorizer
    - start smoking
    -burn the truck down

I'm going with the old fashioned approach and and just going to pressure wash the carpet and steam clean the seats & headliner

Truck is back at the frame shop. They're going to look at it again.

I picked up more thing I don't need off of Craigslist

WeatherTechs and some AllPro Apex sliders. 180$ for both.

    UPDATE

Smoke smell is better. Not gone but better. I used this:
    IMG_1172.jpg

I got the truck back from the bodyshop today. Everything is fixed. They also got it aligned. Everything looks and feels perfect. Last thing I need to do to get it on the road is finish welding the TC alignment tabs and then it's ready for titling and regsistration.

Find shed welding the TC alignment tabs in and painted the bare metal this morning.

Next on the list of to-dos is get the new tires mounted

I picked these up from @nazlax10 earlier this year. I’m running the same tires on my F150 and haven’t had any complaints

Picked up this CBI bedrack from @SnowroxKT. They’re for a short bed so I’ll have to extend them about 12”. I’ll also be making some taller top bars for them

Can't wait to see them after you stretch them. Glad to see them getting used as a bedrack rather than what I was going to do.

It’s time to make this thing my daily. I sold my f150 today!

Applying the first couple coats of POR15 over the freshly blasted sliders. I did manage to get a tiny bit on my forearm and finger....

After this I’ll probably hit them with some rustoleum bed liner. I used that on my last Jeep bumper and it was easy to touch up
