Yes, 5''. Everything that I've read about Timbren's, and any other bump stops, say that they are for up to 2-3'' of lift. Will I need to fabricate a 2'' spacer for the bump stops?

The Alcans are 2-1/2” thick. From the TOP of the leaf pack to the top of the factory bump stop would be 6”. So I basically need a 6” bumpstop?

Why? Bump stops are at the end of upward movement. A 6” bump stop will ride harsh. A 2-3” one is more than enough.

If you really want 6” bump stops timbers or wheelers has spacers for them. sumosprings are 4-5” tall and will increase load capacity

so stock Should be in the middle of total travel. If you lift 5” you need to make you shocks are correct for that length. you will loose some up travel if you stick with a normal or 2-3” lift shock. But if you install a 5” longer shock and don’t match the bump stops to the shock leingth you’ll bottom out the shock before hitting the bump stop.

I found what I was looking for. This is what I need for my application. I haven't seen anyone mention these in the forums.

Your bump stop has almost no correlation to your lift height.

"Lift" will increase ride height, and hopefully your wheel up travel (longer distance to go upward). Your overall tire size after the lift will indicate how "big" of a bump stop you will need.

Edit: think of it this way. If we said a stock 3rd gen has 4 inches of up travel, and you lift it 5 more inches you'll hopefully now have 9 inches of up travel. Now if you increase your bump stop height by 5 additional inches, you just limited yourself to the same exact amount of wheel up travel you started with. Why would you do that?

You need to install the springs, the flex them to find out what your shock uptravel is, or when your tires hit your fenders. If neither of these are maxed out with stock bumptops, you will be fine. however if you hit either of these issues, you need to extend the bumptops.
Are you installing a U bolt flip at the same time? wheelers makes a nice one with bump stop mounts that are adjustable.

It sounds like you already bought something, but bump stop height is dictated by the compressed length of your shocks/thickness of your leaf pack. If your shocks are any longer than 16"-16.5" compressed then that's when you start limiting up travel.

    I’m using Bilstein B110 with 16-1/4” compressed.

Then you don't need to limit up travel that much with the toytec thing you linked earlier. Are you running stock bump stops? What I did in the past with b110/dakars was bolt a hockey puck to the strike pad. It's exactly 1" thick and worked well. Cost like $7 too.

Or you can use this as a chance to upgrade bump stops and get timbrens/wheelers superbumps/archive garage bumps.

    It’s ok, I tried a bit...
~1” of up travel will be fun

Obviously you had a hard time understanding the question. Don’t worry, EatSleepTacos understood and was actually helpful.
