it might fit with some bending, but it may take a good bit to get it to clear. its actually making contact with the shackle, so it needs to be further in to clear that

latest tool added to my arsenal! Bauer Porta Band with Dewalt blades and a SWAG Offroad V3.0 Portaband Stand. Time to finally be able to cut some sheet metal to fix the rest of the cab so I can actually prime it....

Your farther ahead of me I don't even have one lol. I love the 80 with the round headlights. These mini trucks are off road savages. It's not about how long it takes you to complete the re-build its just about being able to complete it. Rome wasn't built in one day.

finally made some progress...probably the most stressful part too. got the holes drilled in the frame for the IFS box mount. had to buy a 3/4" bit and a 1/2" bit to get everything drilled out properly. i was worried that it wouldnt line up or id screw something up...but i have to say....i turned out pretty decent for something so tedious. everything seems to be lined up and so far looks to clear everything. oh, and i also sliced my finger pretty good when i was setting the steering box in place, i hit the top of the mount when it dropped down a bit lol

that is very true....I just hate to see days go by with little progress made....im just ready to be done and drive the truck already......lol. I do love the round head lights over the square ones. im excited to get all the body work done and mocked up

Getting the IFS all lined up is tedious. I had to get a shorter pitman since I flubbed mine about a 1/4" to the right :)

Are you going to burn in the mount plate?
