woot, that was pretty damn quick finding a new 3rz, the yard I frequent over in pensacola (Angelos), im in good relations with him and called him today and he got back to me earlier. He has a running 3rz that he JUST got, with the harness, that he is gonna hook me up with for $900. sucks I have to spend $900 i dont have...but...i will at least be able to swap some things over and I'll be good to go to get this truck driving finally

im hoping it can be salvaged, if not, itll be a nice paper weight lol. If i do need a new block, my buddy angelo said he should be able to hook me up with a short block 3rz to get work done on for some boostiness

thanks lol, yeah its just been set back after set back lol. it's been an adventure though, i can say that haha

got some stuff done you could say. freshened up this 2rz (thought the engine i was getting at the yard was a 3rz, turned out not to be....oh well). used my spare headgasket from the 3rz, cleaned up the cylinders and surfaces, along with the block. put a new pilot bearing in, had to use the bread trick to get the damn thing out. got the T100 rear sump and rear pickup swapped over along with a bunch of other parts from the 3rz block. installed the 3rz high torque flywheel and had to get a new pro clutch kit since a spring broke on the old clutch. took me about 2 hours to get the engine mated to the trans and bolted in...it did NOT want to work with me lmao, but I finally got it to slip into place with no force at all. tomorrow should be fun

you literally shove bread in behind the pilot bearing and keep compressing it with a bolt or extension lol. once you cant do that anymore, take the bolt and hammer it into the bread through the pilot bearing. the force of the bread having nowhere to go essentially pushes the pilot bearing out. then rinse and repeat with shoving, compressing, and hammering the bread until the pilot bearing comes out

well the truck can only get out there one way ;)

shes finally runnind and driving! i dont have too many videos or pictures, but the oil pump I believe needs to be replaced as its leaking pretty bad. other than that, one of the tcases needs to be sealed up again and the clutch needs to be bled and fixed, but shes running and driving finally.
