Man, that must be nice! I dont have to go to school and i park next to a lady at work that is super meticulous about her Lincoln and so i dont worry about dingers for the most part. if i know im going somewhere that parking is gonna suck i take the truck with sliders on it lol..

Sounds like steps work better for you, i know what you mean, my mom always complains when she tries to get in my lifted truck. It has sliders and she says that they cant be used as steps because they're too high.

Keep it as long as I can. I'm definitely buying a new one once I get a steady job (hopefully in the Border Patrol, or TX Highway Patrol) in 2025-2026. It's barely got 54,000 miles on it, so I'm sure it can survive at least another decade.

For sure. My entire family (excluding my dad) thinks I'm too attached to my truck. It's my baby, and this last time we went to the dealer, the guy wanted my dad to trade her in. I gave them the finger and told them "not happening pal."

Not really, I just don't want anybody I don't trust, or people that have insufficient Tacoma knowledge to even lay a finger on my truck.

I'm right there with you.. I started working on basically everything on mine just because i didn't want anyone else working on it, and its too expensive to have a shop do it. Mainly i just didnt trust anyone though lol, id rather learn to do it myself than pay someone else and worry they're gonna screw it up

I don't feel safe letting my mom, or brother drive my truck due to the fact that they're heavy on the gas pedal. Me, and my dad drive nice an smooth anywhere we go. My mom, and brother hate my truck BTW, then they come back asking me to help them transport something big.

He's helped me install front suspension, and he sanded the ugly rusted bars that hold the stock skid.

No. I'm thinking of changing ABSOLUTELY every maintenance item once I hit 55k.

I would've ruined my entire front suspension if I did it myself.
