    Found this kitten with very interesting fur pattern next to my truck. Walked across the street, and bought him a pouch of Whiskas wet food. I thought he was covered in scabs, until he came up to me is when I noticed it was his fur color.

    Just got back from the AC shop. Dudes replaced it with an OE tube. Turns out the original tube was making contact with the hot engine, and it eventually punctured. The loud hiss I heard was the punctured hole leaking out all of the coolant. Glad to say I only paid roughly $100 for the entire procedure. AC is back in the mid 40's. :D


    Kinda bummed out that my go-to AC shop in McAllen tried to scam me hard. Quote was $632.36 for the whole deal.

    I thats not that bad of a price though. Sounds like 2.5-3 hours of labor, a hose assembly for 150$ and some refrigerant.

    I didn't mean to suggest they were scamming, I just meant you could save the labor money if you did it yourself

    Nah my guy, that was a straight up scam


    The dude that worked on it in Mexico spent more time finding the part, than the actual installation. He replaced the tube, vacuumed the system of any remaining coolant, and refilled it.
