    I got the m11x with the core 2 duo....didnt have the i7 when I got mine. Love the thing and I dual boot it with backtrack 4 for my other hobby

    It comes down to what will you use the laptop for: If you are doing gaming, the Alienware wins hands down. If you are using it for business, make sure your company allows MACs to operate on their network as some do not. Next, which do you have the most experience with previously, the two OS's operate very differently, and if you are use to one and do not want to *learn* the other method, stick with what you know.

    Got my laptop in today and so far its a really sweet machine.
