alighment after lift help!

    Hey guys I'm going to get the toytec ultimate lift will I nees UCA's when I lift it ot get my alighnment back to factory specs.....I have a rims with 4" backspacing and 265-75-r16 all terrains...

    I think it all depends on how high you crank it up. If you go the full 3" then you are going to be able to get within specs, but not perfect. UCA's can make it perfect. If you are at 2" or so you should be alright without the UCA's. From all I read it really seems like 2.5 is about the breaking point to getting your alignment right. I am sure others will chime in, but I have been studying this a little for future reference.

    Hendo is right...The higher you get, the more alignment issues you will have that you need UCAs to correct.

    It's worth getting them first time imo- They give you the option to crank them up later and they are easy to install all at once.

    I just did a 2.5" hbs front and 1.5" toytec rear and it drives perfectly straight but i may have it checked to be safe

    If you keep your lift under 2.5 you should be okay with stock UCAs.

    I just got my Kings installed at 2.5 and there were no issues at all. I would think toytec would be the same. either way get it done right away. If you are in san diego go to The Truck Shop and ask for James. He knows his stuff. Did my install and alignment.

    Good Call- Driving straight and properly aligned are two different things. Mine drove straight- but there was some wicked tire scrub in turns. TOTALLY worth getting it checked.

    Color Match Grille, Bed mat, Icon's with JBA UCA's, Dakars and 295 BFG KO2, Bora 1" spacers, Snugtop Canopy, and my "Marshall Fabrication" Rock Sliders.
    Mine was fine when I first did my lift, but it slowely got worse and started having wondering. So I just descided to get new UCA's so that I wouldnt have any issues and my tires wouldnt wear unevenly.
    But most 1st. gens do just fine without new UCA's.
