So, I just got new tires and alignment.

They said they couldn't get my passenger side caster in spec.

    (see pics)

They wouldn't adjust my coilovers and asked me to do it and come back.

What I need to know is what way do I adjust?
seems like it would be up , but then looking and measuring, my passenger side is 1/4" higher.
So, maybe lowering it would get me back into spec?

    not sure

    Thanks for looking

And having a higher caster on the right is going to offset the slight right pull we notice from the crowning on the roads. Caster, in itself, will not affect tire wear.

well then if that is ok,
now I just need to go back and get the
    friggin steering wheel shake fixed:mad:

its fine until 50 then it's real bad , then goes away around 60, idk wtf they did but it's worse than my old tire that lost an entire weight strip.

    not happy

You will usually notice a wheel shake between 35-50mph if it is a balance issue. When you go back to the shop make sure they do a dynamic balance on the wheels and not just a static balance. The difference is that in dynamic they also balance the inside = outside while on static it is just a balance of weight from the center point.

took it back to the shop. BAD TIRE

they have to order another, but in the mean time they put the bad one on the rear.
It is WAY smoother now and no more steering wheel shake. I do feel a little flutter fromthe rear, but it is the bad tire I suppose.

They say sometimes the road force balancer doesn't see any defects until the tire is actually driven on. IDK ?

I also raised my icons a turn to get the caster in spec, initial numbers say 2.7 but they want to get the bad tire replaced before adjusting it.
