Last week I installed a OME lift on my 2017 OR. I marked all the alignment cams with a paint pen before install and was able to get everything close after I was done. I took it to my local Toyota dealership and got an alignment after but now the steering wheel is more off than before I had it aligned. Any suggestions? Should I take it to a independent alignment shop?

I'd take it back to Toyota and tell them to realign it.

That’s all a load of shit. Making the steering wheel straight isn’t difficult. Two weeks ago I was wheeling, and knocked my shit so hard, my steering wheel was knocked 45° to the right. Took it to my alignment guy and he had me sorted out with no issues.
