Hi all, I have a 2013 double cab long bed, 4x4 sport. About 6 months ago I lifted my truck with aN OME kit, did not install the uca's that I had (I got about 2.75" of lift up front). Rubbing was minimal and I was stoked. At the time I had 265/70/17 duratracs mounted on stock sport rims with spidertraxx 1.25" spacers, and got it aligned with no issues. Recently I replaced the duratracs with Yokohama geolanders sized at 285/70/17 on the same stock sport rims and spacers. But the alignment was WAY off (towards the right) when I just replaced the tires, they were mounted and balanced properly. Does increasing the tire size really throw off the alignment that much? Any help would be great. Thanks

I went with a taller tire, not wider, but didn't have any issues. I wouldn't imagine tire size would matter. None of the angles should change.

Unless maybe the alignment wasn't perfect to begin with and the bigger tires exaggerate that difference.

With a lift that much, why didn't you install the UCA's?

I didn't install them because I was told 3" was the magic number for having to install them. I got just about 2.75" of lift out of the kit. As stated, had no probs with them with smaller tires.

Alignment was just a hair off to the left after the kit was installed, didn't take much to get it perfect the first time.

I think you should be fine without UCAs.
