    Looking for around 2.5 caster. Still good to go with E?

    My stock arms would not make it over 1.3.

    I know this all is relative to my setup. I have 5100's set at 1.75.
    I am going to try and run 275-70r17 without rubbing.
    Might have to trim a bit. Wait and see.

    Steve...what do you mean the slide...are you talking about the degree adjustment plate under the 32mm nut..I'm tryin to get more Caster and have it set on "E"..need to adjust it to the "D" position, and wannna tell the tech so he can align it outside the OEM specs of 1.8* - 2.4*.....:notsure:

    If you loosen the top nut , the whole ball joint assembly can slide toward or away from the tire to adjust camber

    So unweight truck..."loosen" not remove nut , and pull BJ assembly towards wheel for max Caster..?

    275-70r17 with 5100@1.75 No noticeable rubbing. But I have not stuffed them yet. I am sure they will rub then.

    Just an FYI. I went out to air my tires this week and discovered the weld had completely failed on my right Spec Products UCA. Not sure how long I have been driving this way as it didn't seem too noticeable. I called them and they said it is a known issue and they were good about getting me a new set right away. But my feeling is that this is a dangerous condition and it should have prompted a recall. My original install was December of 2012.

    I might suggest you take a look at yours if you have this earlier design.
