Pretty far, its northwest of Austin. Maybe get in one of the Houston threads or the other one, forgot what its called, but its a Beaumont thread and see if someone could help you with a torque wrench.

ok so I installed Light Racing UCA's and honestly i am pretty happy with how it turned out. I went on down to my local Goodyear tire shop and the lady at the front desk told me that she was going to charge me a specialty fee because I have a lift on my truck. and that she really did not want to do it because her "machine is only set for factory cars." please correct me if i am wrong, but i thought the only reason you have to put in the make and model of the vehicle is to get the factory settings in the computer to get it as close to factory as possible. Isn't that the whole reason you get the UCA's to get the alignment back as close to factory settings as possible?

Long story short things were said she ended up frustrating me and i walked out.

Well, with the lifted trucks and bigger tires you actually want a little bit different specs then factory. From what I've found the preferred specs for lifted is to get as close to this as possible--Camber:0, Toe:0, Caster:3.0 ish (right side Caster may be slightly more then left for road crown)

Is that the same for a six inch lift?

You would think that the specs would change as lift is increased otherwise it would seem that they all would fit into factory specs. I am still not convinced with the settings I see others have as they pertain to a six inch lift

The six inch lift uses a drop bracket. Accordingly, the suspension geometry change is in line with standard 2.5 to 3' lifts. That's why 3.0 caster is just about right.

Well I can only say that those specs work great for my 6" lift.

I have a six inch bds lift with fox coilovers and LR UCAs. ..I wanted to put 6inch blocks in the back and crank up the coil overs and adjust the caster all to make more clearence for our new bushwacker flares...what are your thoughts on this will it work?

The same shit everyone else has.
Good info in here. Im getting ready to install mine and have the truck aligned.

When you guys set the ball joints on the uppers, where are you setting them at? Whole way in? Out? Dead center? I want to get mine somewhere in the ballpark of being right since I have to drive about 15 miles to the alignment shop

    Cheers

I have 4" Maxtrac spindles with Icon 2.5rr coilovers set @ 2". In rear: custom leafs and 2' blocks with 12" stroke Icon 2.0.
I dont know that i would put 6" blocks in your rear. That is very high.
I have my LR UCA's set in the E position
