We raised our fox coilovers up in the front and our LR uca's are on the d position...we have 4inch blocks and we will be adding a leaf in the rear to try and lift the whole truck higher so our large 35/12.5/18 nitto trail grapplers don't scrape the new bushwacker flares when we turn and brake on a decline or turn and accelerate on an incline...again we have a six inch bds lift...our 18 inch rims have a five inch back space....we are hoping this all will cure the rub

Why did you choose the position? and yes six inch blocks are too high I believe too...we decided on adding a leave because the truck is new and springs seem good to us....what are your thoughts?uploadfromtaptalk1433733114076.jpg

Yep. I set the camber at the middle and it wasnt too bad. Only the driver side needed reset during the alignment.

I was able to get the caster set at 2.5 on both sides. The ball joints are set at he neutral D (+2) position. The camber is set at -.1 on both sides, and its toed in .1 as well.

The truck rides like a dream. Better than it did when I bought it.

Only complaint is that setting the caster so high pushed the wheels/tires back enough that on full lock the tires barely rub the mudflaps. I think the trade off is worth it for the stability. Im gonna heat the flaps up where they rub and reshape them

Got my alignment done today... Went up to Firestone and got the lifetime alignment for $200. Told them I had aftermarket UCAs, gave them the LR UCA instruction sheet, and told them I wanted 0 toe 0 camber 3 caster.

    Here is what they did...

    42F4279D-2A23-4C0C-AC40-2D9E8CE597EF_zps_4eebdfa1fa631f4f6fcec447e9f047f4b018444b.jpg

Honestly doesn't feel much different than what I had prior to alignment. Not sure if they couldn't get my caster up any more or if they wouldn't.

What do y'all think about these numbers???

I forgot to get a print out of my alignment. From what I remember, toe and camber was pretty close to 0*, and caster was at 2.9*

I think they wasted your time.

Find a small mom and pop shop thats willing to work with you. I took mine to small local shop, I got to stand in the garage and watch the owner/mechanic/only person there do the alignment. He listened to exactly what I wanted. I got to see that everything was done properly. I think he honestly spent more time talking about hunting and fishing with me than he did on the actual alignment. And I paid a measly 52$ to have it done RIGHT.

    X2!

The place I went to did an alignment for me, but found I had bad UCA bushings. I went back after I replaced the bushings, re-did the alignment for free. Also had no problem with me bringing my own numbers. I also got to stand in the garage and chat with the guy while he worked. Although, some places might consider that a liability issue.

Ok so I got my alignment done today well let's say there is a huge improvement. But before I didn't have any issues with the wheels rubbing on the frame and now I do any suggestions??

I am no expert and I am still trying to figure this all out so remember that with what I have to say.I had issues with tire rub on both the flares and the body mounts. What we did was add a leaf in the back and cranked our coils up in the front and modded the body mounts. We are set a the d position and camber and toe are close to 0 but caster is 3.7 about on both sides.i left that up to the alignment guy whom I somewhat trusted. This cured the rub and drives fine.i don't know if it's the ultimate but seems good to me....I'm willing to realign if I'm completely convinced I should. This is all on a 6inch bds lift and fox coil overs with an inch and 3/4 add a leaf.so total height approaches 8 inches

Well I wasn't there when they did it I dropped it off but did tell the guy what I wanted and what I've read here which is
    Camber 0
    Caster 2.5-3
    Toe 0
Seems like they need to work on Caster I will take it Wendsday when I'm off in the morning and stay with them to make sure they are adjusting the ucas.

Now it drives straight with no issue but the rubbing is killing me when I'm backing up.

Trim the flares. Remove the flares. Or modify the flares.

I modified mine. I heated them up and reshaped there where the tire rubbed. Solved my problem

Just had my alignment done. LR UCAs set at the +2 caster position & slid all the way outward. 2.5" lift up front. All of the adjustments were done at the LCA cams by the mechanic.

I got lucky I suppose. I have to take it back in though because the steering wheel is slightly off center when going straight. A few tie rod adjustments ought to fix that. What part of the UCA would you like a picture of?
