N00b question-would there be any alignment changes if I got an alignment done on smaller tires, then put larger ones in right after?

Just got an alignment. Here are my numbers. Do they look okay? Drivers really nice.

Is it normal for one side (tire) to rub more than the other? Thx

I don't see why they couldn't get your caster lower. What do you have? Your alignment guy sucks. There is no excuse for that. Did he know the UCA is adjustable?

Actually 3* of caster is recommended by a lot of guys on TW as well as a tech at SPC.

I wouldn't mind those numbers one bit. I've seen smaller differences than .4 degrees for caster, and that could be the source of your rubbing.

They could have been more even but 3 is fine

I don't like the .4 difference. With the available adjustments I don't see why they couldn't have matched them closer.

My drivers side used to rub more because I was told that's the side the fuel tank is on....since then we cranked the coils up accordingly and added a leaf in the back and no more rub....that's with a six inch bds lift..fox coilovers...Rev tech add a leaf and 35inch nitto trail grapplers

Must be a regional thing.
They definitely don't do that out here, but it's dry as a fart and the roads are pretty flat.

You might need less caster on the driver side :notsure:

Did a bunch of reading tonight and I think I neend more caster. More caster pushes the wheel forward. I'm going back tomorrow to talk to the alignment guy and ask him to get the drivers side closer to 3.

Measure the distance from the top of the tire to the fender flare and from the tire to where it hits on both sides to see if your drivers side leans.Ive been through all of this.

    Thanks for the reply.

Did that and it was about 1/2". Going back today to see if they can raise caster and forget about road crown.

To give you something to compare to:
    1" front lift
SPC uppers at the +2 "D" position
    17x9 0 offset
    265/70/17
    Caster at 2.4 both sides.

My driver side tire STILL rubbed the lower fender/body mount area pretty bad when turning left. No mud flaps.
