    Don't think that will help...from my understanding caster will only move it a little from where your at...not that much to make a difference. ...I am no expert so please tell me what your alignment man says

    Okay just got off the phone with Specialty products (light racing) and they suggested this (#5). They did say you can do the adjustment to one side and not the other without throwing the entire alignment out of whack. Going back in for alignment on Monday.

    Nice.....so does this mean you have light racing adjustable lower control arms? Or is this something you can do with the stock lowers?I am very interested in what you find out!I've always had a hunch that it could be done this way.But with my limited knowledge I was unable to clearly explain myself to the shop.

    You adjust caster with the stock LCA's as it is, and the LR Upper control arms add another source of additional caster change depending on their setting.

    Yep, LR UCA hence the title of the thread (giving you a hard time). ;) Hopefully the alignment guy understands. I'm going to take this F&Q sheet in and a number where he can call them if any questions. Super nice people at Specialty Products.

    I finally got Firestone to understand what I want out of my alignment and the tech is willing to work with me. I went into the shop and the tech showed me what was going on. He maxed out Caster and said that the Camber was going to suffer, I get that. Below is with Caster maxed out with the Balljoint at the 'Neutral' position. The question is do I adjust the Caster +1* or adjust the Camber, or both?

    I thought you could get 3 degrees of caster and zero out camber in the neutral position. Makes me think I should install with E. Did you tighten the ball joint assembly right in the middle of the slide?

    Mine is more toward the outside of the slide but not maxed out. Moving it to the middle might give me the numbers I want, just trying to get a feel for where it should be.

    I was planning on installing it smack dab in the middle. That should lower the max camber possible and increase the max caster.

    Yes but I haven't gone through it yet. Wont be installing for 2 weeks :annoyed:

    I'm not trying to be a dick , it's worth reading prior to install so you understand what you're up against

    The neutral position adds 2 degrees of caster , the camber adjustment is via a slide and is adjustable on its own and is not tied in any way to how much caster you dialed in on the balljoint

    Didn't think you were, I just wanted to know if I misspoke. I'll definitely be going through that thing numerous times before anything else. I'm confused why Sandman cant get at least 3 degrees of caster and zero out camber with the neutral position.

    Depends on how your LCA alignment cams are adjusted

    In the opening post of this thread Steve explains the relationship between the LCA cams and the LR UCA adjustments

    Did they know they could adjust camber indipendently on the UCA ?
