The shop I ordered the lift from said it would be over $300 to align the front end after I install my lift, upper and lower bj's, and inner and outer tie rods. Is that about normal for an alignment?

Way too high. I paid $85 for mine and that was one of the more expensive shops around.

they assume if you are spending $ doing all that then you will overpay so they try to rip you off under the guise of some stupid BS about dealing with "non-standard" components and such.

find a place to treat you fairly and warn off all your friends to avoid that place

no alignment anywhere should be over $100 if all they are doing is the alignment

Nearly 8" when I got it aligned. I've since lower and aligned it myself.

They are not installing the lift kit as well are they ??

That would be the only way I could see the price quoted .

For that much money I will buy a Front end rack!!!

Mine was recently done and was in the 140 dollar range and that was only because 3 of the 4 camber bolts were frozen and took extra time to get them broke free. They explained this to me when I picked it up though but otherwise it would have been like 75 bucks.

I'm not having them install the lift. The lift itself is $1089. To have it installed would cost $2347 out the door. I could buy the same lift twice and still have cash left for what they want for labor. The alignment is included in that $2347 though.

I agree. I would think such a major four wheel drive chain store would be more affordable. Looks like I get to learn how to install a lift kit.

i paid $70 twice and then sprung for "lifetime" recently for $180... 300 is way too high and unless you are buying a trophy truck crew then a thousand $$ is a lot for a labor charge on a lift...
