LoL ok. I figured it might be part of his complaint about veering when he hits bumps.

See if there is an actual alignment shop in town. Ideally you probably wanna find they guy who’s been in business forever... as opposed to the national chain that hires anyone.

After I get the rack back on tomorrow I will go get another new set of tires and an alignment and post the sheet. I need to get a job at bfg at the rate this thing eats tires

I put a leveling lift on my Nissan titan and it did the exact same thing...I took it and got an alignment done and it fixed the prob. Sears isnt the greatest place to take it to IMO.

When you reinstall them you might want to FLIP them since they’re installed upside down at the spindle. When using those lift spindles the tierods need to be flipped from the original position or you’ll end up with the problem you’re currently experiencing. :hattip:

With the tapered hole, they're only going to go in 1 way. If you tried to put it in the wrong way, it's not going to go through far enough to get the nut on.

Maybe whatever ching chong spindles the OP has doesn't do it like the MaxTrac. Personally, I wouldn't run any spindle on any vehicle that had enough slop in the hole to put the tie rod ends in either way.

They do and if you don’t you end up with the exact issues he’s having.

Op, flip the tierods, get it aligned. Fixed.

Camburgs are fabricated though. Op’s are cast. There is a no-name cast spindle on Amazon that is identical to MaxTrac spindles without the brand name on them. I’d guess that’s what they are if they aren’t an older version of the MaxTrac.
